AGM and January Meeting
We held our first meeting of the year on 20th January in the landside cafe at the airport.
There was a good turnout, and we had the opportunity to update members on airport and group news.
Steve Land, Head of Operations at Teesside International Airport, was in attendance and gave us the inside scoop on all the latest happenings at the airport. He was also able to take questions from the group, allowing us to ask him about what is planned for the airport and what exciting changes we might see soon.
We thank Steve for taking the time to come and talk to us.
Group News
At the moment we are still waiting for confirmation about which events we’ll be attending this year. Sadly the Cleveland Show has been cancelled, but we’re still looking at other shows to attend with our stall. If you have any suggestions, please let us know!
This year also marks the 10th anniversary of the Friends of Teesside International Airport (previously Friends of Durham Tees Valley Airport). We’re looking for suggestions of ways we could celebrate this, and want you – our members – to enjoy it. Some ideas were shared at the meeting, but please let us know your thoughts by emailing secretary@friendsoftia.co.uk

Next Meeting
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 16th February at 7pm, held in the Landside Cafe in the airport terminal. Parking is free for people attending the meeting.
