While the refurbished terminal at Teesside International Airport has been in operation since last year, some recent additions like the Bannatyne Spa and World Duty Free have improved it even further.
On Thursday 24 March an official opening event was held in the terminal departure area for around 150 people, and members of Friends of Teesside International Airport were also invited to have a look.
It was a great opportunity to see the different areas of the terminal, including the bars, cafe, duty free, spa, lounge and shops.
Airport Managing Director Phil Forster and Tees Valley Mayor Ben Houchen also gave speeches at the event, with the mayor personally thanking our group for our support.
Of course, you can try it out yourself any time by booking a flight from Teesside Airport and supporting it. This summer we have many business and leisure routes on offer, so there’s lots of choice!
